Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy Content

This Privacy Policy describes how CP Staffing (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 2360 Hood Avenue, San Diego, CA, 92123, collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you use our website at cpstaffing.co and utilize our staffing, recruiting, and consulting services. We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting the personal information you share with us.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information necessary to provide our staffing solutions across Executive Search, IT / Technology, Finance & Accounting, Healthcare, Operations, Manufacturing, and Administration.

  • Website Form Information: When you submit the Growth Assessment or other website forms, we collect the information you provide (such as name, company, email, phone number, and your responses to assessment questions).
  • Candidate/Employee Information: Name, address, phone number, email address, employment history, SSN, and identification for work eligibility.
  • Client Information: Business contact details and job requirement information.
  • SMS/Mobile Information: When you optionally opt in to receive SMS messages, we collect your phone number and a record of your separate consent choices for inquiry-related messaging and, if selected, marketing/promotional messaging.
  • Usage Data: IP addresses and website interaction data collected through optional analytics technologies when you enable them through Privacy Choices, and through essential cookies or similar technologies required for site operation and security.

2. Analytics, Privacy Choices, and Optional Technologies

CP Staffing uses a first-party Privacy Choices control on cpstaffing.co so you can decide whether optional analytics technologies may run.

  • Essential technologies: Required for core website operation, security, fraud prevention, lead-form protection (including Cloudflare Turnstile where used), CSRF protection, and similar functionality. These technologies are not used for optional marketing analytics and are not disabled when you reject analytics.
  • Analytics technologies (optional): If you choose Allow Analytics or enable Analytics in Privacy Choices, we may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website and to improve our services.
  • Microsoft Clarity: When enabled, Clarity may collect session replay, heatmap, and interaction/usage analytics about how visitors navigate and use pages on our website. Sensitive lead-form regions—including the Growth Assessment form—are masked using supported Clarity privacy controls (data-clarity-mask and related selectors), and standard form input content is treated as sensitive by Clarity’s default protections.
  • When analytics load: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are intended to load only after you affirmatively enable analytics through Privacy Choices. They should not load merely because you visited a page, scrolled, clicked ordinary links, or submitted a lead form.
  • Changing your choice: You can reopen Privacy Choices from the site footer at any time to enable or disable analytics. If you disable analytics after previously allowing it, we update your stored preference and take reasonable technical steps to stop future analytics loading on subsequent page views.

For more information about how these providers handle data, review their privacy documentation:

  • Google Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data privacy information
  • Microsoft Privacy Statement and Microsoft Clarity data documentation

Analytics consent is separate from SMS/text-message consent. Allowing analytics does not opt you in to SMS, and SMS consent does not enable analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for:

  • Staffing and Recruitment (matching candidates with roles).
  • Employment and Payroll management.
  • Communication: To respond to your inquiries via email or SMS, provide job status updates, or share information about our services.
  • Legal Compliance and Service Improvement.

4. SMS and Text Messaging (A2P Compliance)

CP Staffing may send SMS text messages only when you have separately and voluntarily opted in. We distinguish between inquiry-related messaging and optional marketing/promotional messaging.

  • Growth Assessment (Homepage): On our homepage Growth Assessment (Step 4), you may optionally choose two separate SMS consents: (1) inquiry/conversational SMS regarding your submitted assessment or inquiry, and (2) optional marketing/promotional SMS. Both checkboxes are unchecked by default and neither is required to submit the form. Providing a phone number alone does not constitute SMS consent.
  • Inquiry / Conversational SMS: If you check the inquiry SMS consent box, you agree to receive SMS text messages from CP Staffing regarding your inquiry at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.
  • Marketing / Promotional SMS (Optional): If you separately check the marketing SMS consent box, you agree to receive optional marketing and promotional text messages from CP Staffing at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Marketing SMS consent is not bundled with inquiry SMS consent.
  • Consent Evidence: When you submit a form with SMS choices, we retain your consent selections (including whether each checkbox was checked), timestamps when applicable, the page and form where consent was collected, a consent language version identifier, a hashed IP address (not the raw IP), browser user agent, landing URL, referrer, and related attribution fields needed to demonstrate what was presented and selected.
  • Other Opt-In Methods: You may also opt in by texting a keyword to our number or through verbal/written consent during the recruitment process, where applicable.
  • Opt-Out: You can cancel SMS at any time. Text “STOP” to the number from which you received the message. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages for that program unless you opt in again.
  • Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information in Section 10.
  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Privacy consent and analytics consent are separate from SMS consent. Accepting or rejecting analytics through Privacy Choices does not opt you in or out of SMS messaging.

5. Disclosure and Sharing of Information

We may share your personal information with clients (for potential employment) or third-party service providers (such as email delivery, website hosting, fraud prevention, analytics when you have enabled them, and messaging infrastructure providers) who help us operate our business. These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use your mobile information or SMS consent data for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS OPT-IN DATA EXCLUSION: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Operational service providers may process mobile information solely to deliver messaging or related services on our behalf.

6. We Do Not Sell Personal Information

CP Staffing does not sell, rent, or trade the personal information of our candidates, employees, or clients to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.

7. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
